The graphics rely on real-life choroegraphed footage that is worked into the game, and whilst the animation is quite fluid the characters themselves look rather pixellated and the overall effect is quite an ugly one, if distinctive. Originally released back in 1990 by Atari, 'Pit Fighter' is a fairly basic one or two-player fighting game in which mixed-ability fighters take eachother on in dingy bars and warehouses to the delight of a baying crowd. The game allows you to play as one of three characters, each with their own unique strenghts and weaknesses: namey Ty, a fast-moving kickboxer, Buzz, a powerful and musclebound wrestler, finally a martial artist by the name of Kato.
