I must admit, I am not really a fan of the Sci-Fi genre. I despise Star Wars and all other similar programs. Why then, do I find this game so addictive? It is set upon the same sort of theme as these awful movies, with ships in space, in the future etc. If my tastes followed the trend, I would hate this sort of thing almost as much as I hate the movies. But no, quite the opposite in fact! I love this game! Background The background of the game is basically that each user owns their own small planet, which they can protect by building up different kinds of ships and other things. The game is set in the future as most Sci-Fi things are and is played in ... Read the complete review

If you haven't tried this game then I suggest you do so now. There are no graphics, but it is a tactical game and even without any graphics you can see your planet developing and becoming stronger. Basically, you sign up and are given a planet to manage. You then through construction and research must develop new technology and mine resources so that you can compete with other planets. You have to move your way through different mining techniques in order to construct buildings and ships. The more you research and construct the more options that are open to you. You must also create planetary defences in order to protect yourself from attacks from other planet ... Read the complete review

If you've never played Planetarion before RUN Now !!!! Planetarion is a very addictive game that will hook you and keep you playing for ages I've been playing for about five months now and I cannot stop. The game is sooo easy to play and dispite being based soly on the internet it is very fast. Planetarion is loosly based on the old settlers type games. you start off with a imited amount of facilities and have to mine to gt more and be able to build better mines and facilities. The whole idea of the game is to become the best planet around. How you do this is simple attack other planes and make yourself as big and as 'ard as possible. ... Read the complete review

I my self started playing planetarion a couple of weeks ago, and well when getting home from working at college or work all day and launching an attack at some moron, that has been sending you dodgy messages about having you destroyed by a whole galaxy, (tactics of which that I addopted) And wipping them out was a great deal of fun. And there was the possiblity that you may end up dead in the water by annoying the rather large and powerfull people, like paradox (the person that introduced me to the game). All together a superb layout and the restart is on 7th. So I definately be joining it again. Although I would like to point out that you have to put ... Read the complete review

This must be THE online gaming experienc of the year! The game was set up a couple of years back, when it only had a few members, and was hosted on a single server. The game has now grown to have over 100,000 members, and recently changed servers because the old server could not handle it any more! The aim of the game is to become the most important planet in the universe. To do this you must have a large fleet, lot's of money, lots of allies and a great understanding of the game. An important part of the site, apart from the game, is the forums, and communication tools. You can use these to build alliences, talk to the creators, and ask for help ... Read the complete review
