we waited a long time for a follow up to prince of persia - and what do we get? Not much thats for sure, the game opens badly in a pitch black dungeon and goes down hill from there. It looks nothing special, the levels are truly uninspiring and its way too short. It doesnt give you a feeling of envolvement - something the original had in bucket loads. My advice is to dig out you old amigas and play the original - it would be less of a chore than trying to enjoy this game. ... Read the complete review

I was excited when I heard that a third Prince of Persia was coming out but it turned out that the game didnt live up to my expectations or any to that matter. The game is boring. Althought the graphics are good and so is the gameplay, it all wears of pretty quickly. The game has no excitement and you spend too much time in certain areas like the palace. And the game is easy too, I beat a boss in the game and she didnt even touch me. All in all this game was a dissapointment, go play Theif, its a lot better. Gameplay is fun...for a few levels. Then for the rest of the game you do the same things over in over in a new setting. The fighting was supposed to be more ... Read the complete review

I enjoyed the first installment of this game on the Amiga and when I first saw this game I came across a demo of it on a cover cd. I must say the demo was very good and I was ready for the full game. The music is very authentic and the graphics are very smart to look at. The prince does battle in a fantasy eastern land with giant mosques and has the use of a sword and bow with various arrows. When I got the full game the levels were still very good but I got stuck half way and then the game started loosing its shine. Yes the buildings are really detailed and the music is really good but I got a little sick of the gameplay. Ive seen worse however, for ... Read the complete review

Another long wait for a game that fails to live up to all the hype suprise suprise. The graphics are fine sound ok gameplay questionable. Only 12 levels as well. Some of the collision detection is very suspect if you played the game you will no what I mean I didn`t like the 3d angles it game me a very wierd feeling, the usual things associated with prince of persia, traps guards, puzzles have to be solved. Enough said about this game you can buy it for around 10 quid but you are throwing your money down the drain stay clear of it. ... Read the complete review

Prince of Persia 3D is a terrible remake of the console classic. They should never have remade this popular game for the consoles and have really created a disaster. Controlling the Prince in itself is probably the hardest part of the game, and can be a very painful process – he’s far too slow, and gets caught up on the smallest bit of scenery and this isn’t aided by the appalling camera views. The camera is like a bee, it just buzzes around and when it does settle down looks the other way, making avoiding pits and those sharp booby traps very hard. On top of this the AI is the worst I have ever seen, two or three swipes and the bloke is dead, no ... Read the complete review
