... everything that moves (and many things that don't) and try not to die. Not exactly Mastermind stuff I know - but that isn't what I play this sort of game for. I spend all my working day thinking hard about things so it's great to be able to kick back and let fly with those lasers. I remember when the first R-Type came out in the arcades - I can't remeber how young I was but we are talking short trousers here - I was simply blown away. That game was awesome and cost my dad quite a bit in 10p pieces (yes 10p a go - oh they were the days). That was back in the days when I had a humble Sinclair Spectrum and although I eagerly awaited the speccy version, past experience made me expect to be disappointed. But I wasn't. R-Type for the Spectrum was awesome too - in fact every single version of it for every system that I have seen has been .........well... awesome.
