Advantages: Fun gamplay and original concept!

Disadvantages: Graphics are poor and quite simplistic.

For me this game was just ideal because I have a passion for trains and love the tycoon series of games! I really liked the objective of this game which is to create your own railraod company and also manage it, which is the hard part! The controls are brilliant and really simple making it ideal for the gameplay. You build your own railraod tracks, stations etc so as your railroad company grows so does your company. You really can literally make your own railraod empire and it is so exciting to see it develop!

I was really impressed with the amount of different train types you can get, there are 60 different engine types and 30 cargo types which gives you a lot of choice. I didn't like how there is an upper limit of 32 stations because although this seems like a lot, it actually can be reached quite quickly. The game is very addicitve and you can play on it for so many hours without getting bored. The gameplay is quite simplistic I found and the graphics could most certianly be improved because they will seem very out of date.

Overall I thought it was a really well produced game with fun gameplay and a good variety of features. However, the graphics really did limit the gameplay to an extent but this is inevtiable given its age. The newer release of this game may be more appealing due to the graphics improvement.

Summary: A very enjoyable game however, quite out dated now.
