Gritty. That's the word that PC Gamer magazine ought to choose when deciding on one of their famous one-word summaries for this game. Rally Championship (as it's called in the UK - "2000" is added in certain countries for no apparent reason as it's a 1999 game), in look, feel and all-round rallying experience, is perhaps the nearest approach the sub-genre can provide to the almighty Grand Prix Legends (tick off "obligatory GPL reference") - the closest thing we've got to a rally *simulation*, rather than the - indisputably entertaining - arcadey thrills of rivals such as the Colin McRae series. Rally Championship 2000 is far better than Colin McRae rally 2, it beats it in almost every part of the game. I think it plays best with a steering wheel although the keyboard is controllable. The brilliant graphics boost it’s game play as you can see everything clearly. The game is realistic because when your car gets wrecked, unlike other games, you actually feel the differentce in the car's handling. It has an excellent selection of cars and little things like suspension hardness and gear ratio make it even better (although I don't know what diference they make). It is a truly excellent game with all the features that contribute to an excellent game. ...

Well after just reviewing TOCA 2 I have to write something positive. Well i would anyway for such a good game. The games is obviously rally and the graphics are very realistic and detailed. The game has its own new graphics engine and its own installation programme. The control that you have over the car is very good. The sounds and weather conditions are very well done, but the tracks are limited. Very recent game and worth the money, BUY IT!! ...
