Advantages: Beautiful scenery, sound effects are great, learning curve is excellent!

Disadvantages: Can become repetitive driving on your own.

Have you ever wanted to go out for a nice scenic drive in the country on a Sunday afternoon?

Well with this game, I cant promise you will have a nice relaxing time but it will provide the scenic countryside landscapes for you and your chosen rally team to skid around on.

Select from a varied range of cars from the Subaru to the Corsa and Skoda they are all there ready and waiting for you to play with.

There are three modes, time trial which allows you to set the fastest time for a particular stage of a rally. Arcade mode allows you to race against 5 other computer opponents on the same track with a win scoring you points with every stage you complete. And championship is where there are no rally cars on the stage except for yours and you have to go around the course in the fastest possible time beating your competitors. Along the way split times are shown to allow you to work out what sort of a lead or how much time you may need to make in order to win a rally stage.

Rally's take place in 5 countries overall with 6 stages to each. In my opinion the rally of Wales is the best because when you move through a forest you get the spectacular effect of sunlight glistening through the trees and the sound of birds tweeting in the branches. It proves to be a relaxing affair and the tranquility is impressive when moving through these scenes. It almost makes you want to stop the car, get out and set up a pick nick!

The handling of the cars takes some getting use to buts that is part of the fun, learning how to handle the cars. Its no good if you have cars which you can easily control, that no fun and it makes the game less playable and the life span eventually decreases. Thankfully with this title, it proves not to be true.

Overall an excellent rallying game which gives Colin Mcrae a run for his money!

Good opinion but I'm not a huge fan of driving games so probably won't try it.
