The plot is a thinly disguised take on 'Night of the Living Dead' style get out while you still can. The levels are based around the yocal town and involve entering their houses and moving about their grain fields. The game quickly becomes monotonous. The graphics don't measure up to its competitors and I would strongly advise that other gamers headed for the original Quake or something with a little more substance. Redneck Rampage uses the Duke Nukem engine and is based on the humorous notion that you are an American redneck, attacking chickens and various other Rednecks in your attempts to complete levels. Hazards include other Rednecks with guns and Rednecks driving cars. Amusing, but doesn't take the genre as far as other games such as Carmageddon or Doom. Your character can increase health through drinking alcohol, however this decreases your coordination [the screen becomes wobbly and blurred].
