Why they call this Return to Krondor, when you actually start there and the first thing you do is leave the damn place I will never know. This Role Playing Game sets absolutely no new standards whatsoever. It works in a similar vein to the traditional Japanese offerings that were rife on the Megadrive, containing such wondrously inventive villains as Orcs, Goblins, Wizards, and Giant Rats and Spiders. Initially the appearance seems quite lush, with attractive pre-rendered static backgrounds which change as you move - a la Resident Evil.
