 ... reminded of some of Squaresofts classic RPGs in the Final Fantasy Series and I still can't shake the feeling that it was influenced by them. There are plenty of sub-plots and stuff like any good RPG as well as a tonne of spells. Which brings me onto the graphics, these are some of the best I've seen in an RPG, especially the spells, when you cast one you get loads of ambient lighting and cool colours surrounding you, really nice eye candy. Revenant is an enthralling game in which you take on the roll of Locke D'Armen (or something like that) it's Locke anyway, who is a Revenant. A being brought back from the dead to serve its master. In this case the master wishes you to find his daughter who has been kidnapped by a cult which is roaming the area, and I presume, ultimatly eliminating the cult. This is your typical RPG in which you kill things to gain experience, buy weapons armor etc. etc., but this one's a step above most other similar RPGs.
