Released back in 1994, Rise of the Robots set an early precedent that many of today's modern games would strictly adhere to. Unfortunately, said precedent was to favour flashy but soulless graphics over inventive and engaging gameplay. Rise of The Robots is a one or two player fighting game pitting against one-another a series of giant robots against one-another in hand-to-hand combat.
