The first ever risk game I played was an old shareware version called WinRisk, having never played the board game of Risk I had no idea what I was doing yet after a few hours bashing the keyboard the rules and general game play fell into place. While the game play had the makings of an amazing game ( thanks no doubt to the creators of the original Risk board game ), the graphics were to say the least lacking and so the program inevitably ended up being erased. I am a great fun of the board game, and when I saw this title out for my PC I decided to try it out. For those ho are not familiar with the game here is the plot. 3 to 8 players, are allocated with certain numbers of battallions and a mission for domination. Through good tactics, and luck the players are trying to achieve their ission while at the same time they have to prevent the others from completing their mission. The game works in exactly the same environment as the board game only you do no have physical dice.
