Basically this game is your average futuristic driving game – you know the story, year 2200 something, dare devil racing becomes a popular sport. That’s where the similarities end. The main draw point of rollcage is that you can drive anywhere, and I mean anywhere – ceilings, walls, forests, anywhere. This is very handy for overtaking people. The cars drive at insane speeds, so don’t blink! Also the cars are indestructible, so you can punish them as much as you like, and just keep on going. It may have taken a while but at last, I have written another opinion. Once again, it is on a computer game, those things I can never seem to stop playing. Well this one is on Rollcage. I got this game about a month ago and have been playing it as much as possible. For those who don’t know Rollcage is a racing game where u race in cars which can move on either side, so if you flip over u can still continue going. The aim as usual is to finish the race in first place. You use weapons to shoot your opponents and make them crash so you can over take them. As racing games go, there’s not a lot that hasn’t been done before. Rollcage put a unique slant on the genre when it was launched a couple of years ago. Instead of being restricted to racing only on the flat, you can also drive up walls, and even on the ceilings of tunnels if you are going fast enough. The cars themselves are contained entirely within the space of the 4 wheels, meaning if you crash, it doesn’t matter whether your car is upside-down or not.
