Advantages: Lots of gameplay, loads new rollercoaster types, technical details

Disadvantages: Not fun if you don't like rollercoasters

I've been a big fan of the Rollercoaster Tycoon games. What kind of boy/teenager/man wouldn't like building their own theme park?!

The game is heaps of fun to play and the graphics fantastic. If all you're after is a bit of fun then you can play through the challenges, keeping people happy and building a wonderful theme park. Compared to previous versions there is a massively larger selection of rollercoasters to choose from. For the average person, this will be excellent fun. I personally, love rollercoasters in real life. So being able to design your own to exactly the spec you like is awesome!

If you are into rollercoasters, you can alter some of the technical details like launch speed of powered coasters or the speed brakes during the ride slow you down to. The ability to ride your finished design from a first person perspective is by far one of my favourite features. Perhaps I'm a bit geeky, but I love it!

The fact that you are designing the full park, you are guaranteed no two parks will be the same - so the gameplay is limitless. I personally enjoy using the sandbox (unlimited cash, loads of space) to play around with designs and make more fun parks which don't necessarily need to perform well.

Summary: Awesome game, if you loved previous RCTs, you'll love this one!
