Advantages: Be your own private investigator in a crazy world

Disadvantages: Simple puzzles

I purchased this game after becoming hooked on toonstruck and being desperate for a similar game. Sam and Max are self styled private investigators and the game won praise for its graphics and humour. Several people I know complained about the ease of the puzzles and how repetitive they were, it depends what sort of game you are after, wether you would like difficult puzzles or not. When you play the game you take on the role of sam and help solve his mysteries using a point and click style interface. Due tot he nature of the game, as its set in a cartoon it can be very unrealistic and therefore you have t use crazy means to solve the puzzles. To me this just adds to the fun and excitment of the game. To solve the mysetries with your full control of sam you can walk round destinations, examine objects, pick them up add the to your inventory and converse with characters. All of which adds to up yo a rich and entertaining game.

Summary: Fun but unrealistic and not too taxing
