I loved this game. I have read some reviews that called it sick and twisted, this is because some of the graphics are disterbing. (Given that your average shooting game cheerfully spots blood at every oppotunity I do not understand this view) The game is powerfully atmospheric, the opening scene is set inside a lunatic asylum and is quite offputting. The player does not have to perform any offensive actions. You are slowly piecing together your past and this is enticingly revealed as you progress. It was impossible not to become emotionally involved with the game. The story makes you think, not just about the puzzles, but also about some of the issues involved. Is the monster in part 2 really a monster, she is trying in her own way to save the children that she knew to be abused? Summary: |
