Advantages: Looks great

Disadvantages: It's a computer simulation of a board game - play the real thing!

I'm still not sure why I shelled out £15 for this. I have the board game. I enjoy it. I occasionally play the odd game through Facebook. Why did I feel the need ot purchase an official version on the PC? I don't know.

Lets face it, Scrabble work because it gets people together playing a game, talking and interacting. As soon as you take the face to face element away it becomes, dare I say it, Boring!

Sure, it looks nice, it plays nice, you can't cheat and the pieces don't get eaten by your pet. But the whole fun of any board game is sitting down and playing it together!

Scrabble has all sorts of multiplayer options which I am sure are fine and dandy but alas I never really got that far. Realisation dawned on me and I consigned this to the shelf in favour of the real deal. Board games rock!

Summary: You may as well make a computer simulation of a sandwich - it looks great but aint the same!
