If you have ever wanted to control your own kingdom and be responsible for everything running smoothly then this game is for you. In The Settlers 3 you have to take control of your whole kingdom. You must build different buildings to collect raw materials and other materials you may need. For example, you need a woodcutter to collect wood and a sawmill that can shape the wood so it can be used to create more buildings. You need a stonemason to collect stone for new buildings, you need farmers to grow crops and bakers to bake bread for the people running mines. settlers - Advantages: fun, interesting - Disadvantages: same as settlers2 just more graphics

Having loved The Settlers I and II, I initially found the graphics in Settlers III took a bit of getting used to. The 3-d effect seemed a bit over-powering, and in fact after the first couple of goes, I decided I didn't like it and moved on to something else. However....a few weeks later I gave it another go, and this time I got right into it. The graphics are superb, much more advanced than the previous two games. The characters are endearing, and the missions increase in difficulty just the right amount to keep it challenging without being too frustrating. Dooyooers, My addiction to The Settlers series, started when I played The Settlers on my mates Amiga, sad I know, but at the time, the amiga was at the cutting edge of the computer revolution.
