My love of Sim games started with the likes of Sim Hospital and Theme Park, made by Bullfrog. Then, more recently Sim City 3000, and finally upto the modern day with Sim City 4. For anyone who's never heard of the series, as the name suggests Sim City 4 puts you in charge of a city, you are chief engineer, grand architect and mayor all ... Read the complete review

OVERVIEW Simcity 4 is what it says. It is a glorified City Simulation. In this game, you have to decided what types of power stations are positioned where, location of housing and schools, Road building and train line building as well as all the local amenities such as schools, hospitals. Also added to this is the ability to balance ... Read the complete review

This 4th installment of the hit Sim City series is by far the best one yet. In this game you can have anywhere from a small farm town with 500 residents or a huge city with 100s of thousands of people living in the big city. This game allows you to have huge skyscrapers that look very real. You can allows have huge appartment building and a large ... Read the complete review

Y'know, a funny thing happened today. There I was, sitting on my sofa and dreaming about food (those pesky thought bubbles), when I felt this almighty presence in the room; a magnificent glow lit up the walls, and the house began to shake ominously as if in an earthquake. I thought it might be a problem with the central ... Read the complete review

Sadly, most of the bad reviews (written by critical thinkers) that you're seeing here for SimCity 4 are accurate. I've been a SimCity fan ever since its earliest versions back in the early 90's. After mastering each version, I always look forward to what great new innovations the Maxis folks can come up with next. There are some ... Read the complete review

Having enjoyed the new features in Sim City 3000, building on an always engrossing game. I though the new "god powers" in the new version make make it worth a look so I went ahead and got 4000. After starting a new game, it allows you to terraform the landscape, there's a few new terraforming features in Sim City 4k, but ... Read the complete review

*** THE SHORT VERSION (FOR THOSE IN A HURRY - AND BECAUSE I APPEAR TO HAVE WITTERED ON SOMEWHAT!) *** The latest in a succession of successful "God" games based on creating and running your own city, Sim City 4 is definitely a cut above it's previous incarnations. It maintains the same addictive qualities, but has managed ... Read the complete review

The lure of the SimCity marketing strategy has dangled its meaty little worm and like the rampant consumer I am I?ve nibbled and finally swallowed it whole and been hooked without chance of parole. Maxis (famed maker of ?The Sims? have been tempting, luring and seducing me into being the master of virtual people for many, many years. ... Read the complete review
