I just got hold of a copy of this classic game which I haven't played in years! The goal is the same as the original Sim City and of course the new Sim City 3000. This version is however far superior to both. The aim is to create the biggest city you can by slowly building roads, railways, airports and subways, allocating areas for commercial, residential and industrial development and then raising taxes from the people who move in to help develop your city further. As time progresses you are able to build more and more advanced structures culminating in Arcologies. Apparently if your population reaches a certain level a launch arcology will take off into space in search of a new world but I could never get this to happen. However, now that I am addicted again it's worth another try.

This game is really cheap now, a must buy for all!
