Firstly no longer are you able to level terrain and fill in any water on the land your given. This might not seem a great deal to new users however makes it a little harder to plan ahead.... There have been several times I have had to bulldoze zones and rebuild completely due to this.
The maps are a LOT smaller than the previous games, therefore its possible to fill your city within a couple of hours of play time, I mean once you have built schools, libraries...more

I have been playing the SimCity of games for the past 15 years and when this game was first announced it was one I put on my "must have list". Well I have been playing the game since release now and although the basics of the game are the same as the previous versions, it feels to me as though its been made to easy by EA to fit it with the Sims series. People might think that being easier might make it more appealing however not in my opinion, for example you can take out 3 bonds of up to 100,000 simoleons (yes the currency in the game is also simoleons) and if the city starts struggling turn off individual buildings to reduce the ...
