'Soldiers: Heroes of World War 2' is a game played from a birds-eye-view position. However, unlike most games set out this way, the graphics offer a much greater level of detail. The tanks and infantry you get to control move around realisticly... they sometimes even drop their weapons accidentally in combat! <--Gameplay--> The campaign side to this game offers a range of exciting missions which take you through a number of different terrains. Soldiers: Heroes of World War II was released in 2004, and is still a pretty good game after four years. The past few years have seen no shortage of games based on World War II; but this game was the first in a series of real-time tactics video games based in this era. The gameplay allows you to take control of either English, American, German or Russian soldiers and although it is primarily a strategy game; it doesn't mean you can't take your troops and fight the enemy!
