Advantages: Initially a fun game

Disadvantages: Can grow rather tedious

Spore is a game about the evolution of a speices created by the user.
The game starts with you as a tiny marine animal who can be a carnivore, herbivore or an omnivore. The game progresses when you have eaten enough food. through these early stages of the game the look of your creature can be modified giving the user a seemingly large control of the look of the creature. The game keeps on progressing as the creature evolves, from water to land, from land to tribes, from tribes to civilisations, then in to space, which is where I gave up.

This game at firsts seems like alot of fun, with a relaxed and fun style of game play. Its fun to create weird looking creatures and see them progress. However the initial fun soon get quite tedious as everything is expected to be designed. each stage of evolution is fairly quick to achieve and not particularly exciting. The game does progress in to a space era, where the user can go out to other planets, but to be fair by this point I had grown quite bored of the whole thing.

Summary: A very avarage game
