Hmm, Star trek armada. I suppose an almost classic title nowadays, yet with still enough playability left to entertain you when there's nothing else to do. For a game released years back, it has decent enough graphics and sound, although the gameplay leaves something to be desired. The game will draw you into the world of star trek, but ... From the instant you have installed and started to play this game you are hooked. The graphics are unbelievably good and you feel part of the game. The spaceships look exactly like they do on the TV. The instalation is easy as all you do is follow onscreen instructions. The control of the game is also very easily picked up. The tactics ... Read the complete review

Star Trek Armada If you are a Trekkie like me and you like the Command & Conquer games then this game will defiantly appeal to you! It was weird for me actually, I was at home playing C&C Retaliation on the playstation, in a link game with one of my friends who also happens to be a trekkie. Well we were discussing how good ... Star Trek Armada is a RTS like Command and Conquer however it is set in space. It follows the normal line of building up a strong base with enough resources to build your weapons of war. Resources can be gained by mining dilithium from moons or decommissioning captured star ships. The best thing is that it carries the Star Trek theme with ships ... Read the complete review

Star Trek Armada can only be described as a Star Trek themed Command & Conquer (C&C) look-alike in space. Anyone not familiar with Command & Conquer (the biggest selling real time war strategy ever!) it’s a mixture of fighting, attack and defence against a common enemy with construction of bases and vehicles with option of mining as a way of ... This game is slow especially with quite a few ships on screen, and multiplayer on the internet is even slower (for obvious reasons). Not just that but this game is very buggy with the graphic cards, as another reviewer said "if the creators had spent a little more time over it", but i do have to agree that this is one good game, and ... The Dominion War is over. The three major powers of the Alpha Quadrant, once allied against a common foe, begin planning for the future. For now, an uncomfortable peace has settled in the Galaxy. This game is huge Star Trek: Armada is bigger than a big lot of big things stuck together, and that's just the training stages. If you've ever ... Read the complete review

I bought this game in the High Street at a reasonable price, and when I got home, I tried to install it. This went very successfully. However, when I tried to proceed any further, problems started. First, the multiplayer mode against the computer failed as soon as there was a war. Secondly, there were various other problems (too numerous to ... Read the complete review

Star Trek Armada goes hand in hand with Birth of the Federation in providing a game that has obviously been created by fans of Star Trek. In Armada you get to take control of all four powerful forces: The Federation, Romulan's, Borg and Klingon's in an attempt to destroy the other. In a unique twist you need to play as all four ... I bought Star Trek: Armada a few days after it shelved; my friends and I were sweating to get the plastic wrap off and install it. When we gave the game a few rounds the majority of us were not disappointed! in short, this game is bar none the most tactically involving RTS ever. Although opinions vary, I believe that battle tactics ... Read the complete review

Star Trek Armada has got to be the best trek game that I have played, there have been some real lemons released with the star trek name on the cover, but this has got a great combination. There are a number of missions to be completed, you play the federation, Klingons, Romulans and Borg, but you have to complete the missions in order you ... Read the complete review

This game robbed me of two weeks of my life. I am a self confessed star trek fan so I usually like this type of game anyway but this game was fantastic. Its just soo adictive. On the gameplay front its very reminicant of comand and conquer type games but there is just soo much more, the storyline that runs through the game pulls you on and ... Read the complete review

Startrek Armada, is one amazing game. When I first heard of it, I have to confess I wasnt really looking forward to it..it just sounded like Red Alert, with Startrek vehicles and not much else. Oh boy, was I wrong. The graphics are very, very good, and the camera is easy to use, enabling you to zoom in and out, to view the combat at a closer ... Read the complete review

I had a disappointing introduction to this game - I also was lucky enough to buy this for £5 however when it arrived I discovered my PC was nowhere near powerful enough & I had the wrong operating system installed. This was sorted a week later .. I now have a new PC ( :) any excuse!)and it runs like a dream. Not being a hardened PC ... Read the complete review

After 3 consectutive days I finally managed to find a single copy of it in Electronics Boutique, at £29.99. I thought "why not?", so I decided to buy it. After I got home I placed the CD in my CD-ROM drive. The autorun started with a less than attractive splash screen. I ran through the installation, and although it lasted the best part ... I was lucky enough to be able to purchase this game on Special Offer for only £5!! When it arrived I couldn't wait to install and play the game. Star Trek Armarda As a Star Trek fan I could not resist the fact that there was a game which gave you control of the familiar arsenal of the four main races of the galaxy. Well here was the chance for you to take the helm in a command and conquer style interface. Installation was slow as it requires some 650 MB of hard disk ... Read the complete review
