Advantages: never short of things to do, missions, vehicles, control an entire army

Disadvantages: can only play as popular starwars characters in campaign mode

Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds is a fantastic stratergy game set in the style of command and conquer. You can play campaign missions as wookies, rebel alliance, the empire, trade federation, gungans etc. there is a multi-player mode where you can play on a network or online, skirmish mode where you can pick your team and your opponents, the type of gameplay (my fave is deathmatch where you play til your opponent is totally wiped out). Also you can create your own map and choose your battles there. You can build your base up consisting of hqs, barracks, vehicle factories, power plants and resource harvesting facilities. You can also build huge armies consisting of troops, vehicles, mechs and, boats and fighter ships all as seen in the star wars universe. you control all the action in the same way as the command and conquer series. If you like C&C and star wars you will love this game. i know i do. the only downside i have seen is you can only have darth vader or other well known characters in campaign mode.

Summary: highly addictive stratergy game play fun
