Another excellent game from Lucas arts! Star wars: Rogue squadron is an excellent game which I cannot stop playing. I do not know why it did not get many hits. It was probably because Lucas arts have made so many star war games and you do not really know which one to buy. I advise you to buy Star wars: rogue squadron if anything because the graphics are good, it is a challenging game and you will never get bored of it! ... Read the complete review

A birthday present and been a Star Wars fan I thought great Once installlation was complete and my joystick configured I decided to dive straight into the game. The graphics are a bit outdated by todays standard but they suit the job. There is a good selection of missions some of which are dead easy some are not. The only problem I had with the game is getting the thing out of the damm box it took ages to open so I ended up chucking it. Before you buy I would advise you to download the demo/ get from a cover mag it may not suit every one but I like it. ... Read the complete review

To cut a long story short, this game is BRILLIANT! Even is you are not a star wars fan, you will love it. It is basically a flying game where you fly various missions for the Rebel Alliance. There are 23 missions in all, rangings from protecting the farmers of Tatooine to helping an imperial commander defect from corellia. None of the missions are boring, and each one is introduced and finished with a nicely done rendered cutscene. You fly as Luke Skywalker, with 3 to 6 other wingmen, except in the last misssion where you fly as Wedge Antillies with about 11 wingmen. The games' storyline is not particularly special, but is reasonably sound. There are five craft, and ... Read the complete review

Remember the first level of Shadows of the Empire? Remember thinking "Gee, if only the rest of the game were like this, this game would actually be good"? LucasArts heard you and developed an entire game based around the concept. Of course, spending an entire game in the snowspeeder, fighting AT-ATs, is something better left to that old Atari 2600 game, so some more modes of transport have been tossed in to spruce things up. You play as Luke Skywalker (finally, no Dash Rendars or Kyle Katarns in sight) who leads the Rogue Squadron against the Empire. The game has a very movie-like quality to it, mostly thanks to a lot of voice work and in-game cinemas. The ... Read the complete review

Rogue Squadron is simply the best Lucas Arts game ever. After years of releasing average titles Lucas Arts finally released a Star Wars title that wasn't purely riding on the back of the movie's popularity. The playability of Rogue Squadron is initially pretty difficult if you haven't played too many space shoot'em ups or flight sims. Having to use the fire button sparingly rather than shooting everything (you have allies who you have to protect) takes some time to get familiar with. This does add extra pressure on you as you have to work as part of a team with the rest of your squadron and cover their backs as much as they cover yours. ... Read the complete review
