Sim City 4 (PC):
... love of Sim games started with the likes of Sim Hospital and Theme Park, made by Bullfrog. Then, more recently Sim City 3000, and finally upto the modern day with Sim City 4. Rome - Total War (PC) ... ages my buddy was telling me to get Rome Total War and for ages I kept telling him it wasn t at all my type of game. Finally, to silence his mutterings more than anything, I decided to give in and at least try it out. I bought the game and ever since then I am glad to say I have been proved wrong. The game sees you take charge of one of three Roman factions initially available at the start of the game, all vying for control of the senate and the whole of Rome. Rome TW is a mixture of economic, political and social balance (earning enough, careful diplomacy and making sure the citizens of your various provinces are happy). Zoo Tycoon Collection (PC) ... some people might think this game is going to be boring? I thought so to when I first found it, but I was bored and thought that I would try it out. After figuring out what is was all about I actually got quite into it, quite an addictive game. There are a number of ways you can play this game: Freely - meaning you have unlimited money and can just build and build as much as you like. or Scenarios - basically you have a certain amount of money and need to create certain exhibits, meet goals, make a profit etc. If you play a scenario you might be asked to get some many customers by a certain time or improve the zoo s rating etc. Which can get you thinking, so as... Zoo Tycoon Collection (PC) ... I absolutely adore Zoo Tycoon. It was one of the few games I truly enjoyed when I was young, and I can happily play it again now! I began with the original version, then I bought the Complete Collection. It is great value as it comes with the original game and two expansions. I personally don t paticularly like the sea and marine life, but the Marine Mania expansion is great! You can create your own shows with animals such as dolphins and seals, and this adds a lot to the whole fun of Zoo Tycoon. And, then theres Dinosaur Digs. I found it very exciting to grow my own dinosaurs from eggs. Baby dinosaurs are so adorable! Then they grow up and wreck the place! Its...
