Introduction
I remember the first time i played this game i was about 7/8. Street fighter first came out way back in 1991, and it was by made a company called capcom they also developed resident series and many other games. The good thing about this game is you may complete it with in 2 hrs, but you wanted to complete it with each character to see all the endings which funny or touching.

Story line

If you never have seen the films you probably dont understand the ending's to most of the characters. i'l tell you a little about the animated movie, It starts with Sagat and ryu in combat, RYu beats sagat in an amazing battle. The evil M-Bison is planning To capture all the best street fighters in the world so he goes looking to capture Ryu. But he finds out about Ken, Ryus best friend who Ryu trained with when he was a kid, so bison captures ken and uses mind control to take over his body. Then Ryu must save his friend and the world from the peril of Bison with the support of Guile and Chu li and E honda. But ken is process by M-bisons evil mind control, But friendship prevails yippie and Ryu and Ken fight as a team to bring M-bison down.

The game

Within the game you had the choice of two modes, of play either turbo mode which you can have from 1-4 stars, this changes the speed of the game. You can also play the Classic game which is the older version which is much slower and more basic.
Within the option screen you can change the level of difficulty from upto 1 star to 10 stars, the higher the star the more difficult it gets, i completed it on ten a few times but this is really hard because the oppontents move so much faster.

The moves

the moves ranged from electric attacks to fireballs to flying air kicks, and even wrestling moves, the variation of moves is one of the greatest things about this games and it can be just a good wack em but they are tactics also which makes this the ulimate fighting game.
Some of the moves are hard to learn and will take a while to master, but most moves are easy to learn.

Characters

They are 12 characters. List below
Ryu, Ken, Chun li, Blanca, Zangief, E honda Dhalsim, Guile, Sagat, Vega, Balrog, and M-Bison. Each character has there unique moves, some of the characters are simpler in stlye e.g. Ryu and ken.

Story Mode/One player

The one player mode you choose 1 of 12 characters and you fight you way through 8 characters you always fight Balrog Vegas Sagat and M-Bison the final boss. Once you have defeated M-bison the ending shows a small story about each character, chun li you get two choices.

Bonus rounds

You get to play a bonus after defeating 3 enemies the first is destroying a car which is easy esp with ryu, second bonus round is where you have to destroy a brick wall, the final bonus round is hard and you have to destroy all 20 barrels which fall on you.

two player mode

the two player mode is probably the best part of this game playing against a friend, they is nothing like it for pure fun and knowing you are the best at it. :) multiplayer haven.

The Graphics

The Graphics in this game are really brilliant the character details are fanastic, the muscles on Zangrief to the electric attacks of Blanca.
The backgrounds are brilliant also each is different and varied from, guiles where hes at a american army base to Chun li's stage with chickens and people riding bicycles.

Sound

The sound on each stage is brilliant its fast and gets the heart going and is the correct sound for this type of game. The sound effects of the moves are awesome. even a few words are said "you win" "you lose" and "Perfect". the characters also groan mumble at the end of the game.

The characters and the modes and the pure speed of the game, i love playing against a friends.

Not having enough friends to play it with, the one playing mode can seem frustrating when your play it on the higher levels gets very tough. :)

Overall

I would definately recommend this,
The single player mode is brilliant defeating m-bison and his evil gang theres nothing like it. Even know this game is old and may appear to look a bit out dated, the gameplay makes up for this a brilliant game and one i still play today. You can probably get this game from about £2-£10s in the second hand shops have a look out for it. I would definately reccommend a classic game that needs to be taking out of its dusty box. 10 out of 10
