Good game but probably not everyone's cup of tea...

I play this on steam a lot honestly. It's entertainingly time-consuming with nice 2D graphics. Very clean, smooth animation. But it's definitely not for everyone. The humor is dark and really gross at times.

(Advisory) Contains: toilet humor, period humor, religious/bible-related themes (pacts with the devil/blessings from god, etc), dead animals, body horror, and child abuse (the main theme is that Isaac's mother tried to kill him and he has to free himself)

Probably not a good game for kids. (Then again I started playing the Original game when I was about 15 or 16)

But if you like rogue-likes and aren't bothered by that, then you'll probably love this game. It's a difficult game, takes patience to get the hang of (for me at least.) Both the Original and Remastered games are really unique to the rogue-like genre. Memorable, for sure, and have a lot of replay value.
