Advantages: Create-a-hero & campaign modes

Disadvantages: Need a fairly powerful games machine to get the best out of the game.

This really is an excellent RTS, if you're a fan of the Command and Conquer series and the Lord of the Rings films then this is a must buy. Its got a fairly basic engine; you build your base, defend your base then attack your opponent!

Make no mistake, there is plenty of time to spend playing this game, the campaign modes are great fun and explain a lot of the stories that were left out when converting the books to screen. You can choose to fight for the good side (Elves, Men & Dwarves) and wage war against Sauron's hordes or choose the evil campaign and attempt to conquer Middle-Earth, with the Witch-King, Nazgul and other such beasts.

The online mode is fantastic and offers a different dimension to the game, whilst the create-a-hero mode keeps the gameplay fresh, with different styles, attributes and powers to help design the perfect hero of Middle-Earth!

Summary: Very good RTS, definitely worth a buy, particularly at such a cheap price!
