The game begins with the Punisher being arrested and interrogated. You then play his flashbacks to see how he ended up in this position and you will try to break out afterwards. The disappointing aspect of the Punisher is the fact that there isn't much skill, if any, required to complete it. You can simply walk through the levels shooting and throwing people from windows without any real effort or need for tactics. Punisher does somewhat redeem itself in that there are areas of each level marked by skulls.
