For the few who don't already know it, 'The Sims 2' is a Life Simulator game, the far more sophisticated successor to the huge hit game 'The Sims'. You create incredibly lifelike little people, put them in houses and then watch them live out their lives, sometimes giving them a helping hand to guide them with milestones such as getting a job, dating, getting married, buying a house and so on. But mostly, you can just let them run amok and watch what sort of (often surprising and usually very funny) things they get up to. I decided to buy the Sims 2 quite some time ago and as I knew from previous experience with the original Sims game, how good the expansion packs were I decided to also get one for the Sims 2. The one I first choose was this The Sims 2 Apartment Life which I was absolutely thrilled with upon testing it out. What I loved most about this exapnsion pack is that it adds interest to the game for relatively little money. In terms of money I got this game for £20 but it is now available for just £15 on Amazon which in my opinion is a great buy. For any Sims fan, like myself Im sure you have long waited for something "different" to happen in the sims and this is exactly it! Now you can spend $700 a week on rent, live alongside plenty of new neighbours and as a bonus the apartments come furnished! Play your way up the ladder, start in a small caravan type site, get friendly with your neighbours and you never know you could end up living with your neighbour in a flashy apartment on the other end of town! Or perhaps youd rather just build your way up in work and afford the flashy apartment ... Read the complete review

The Sims Apartment Life contains one new neighbourhood called Belladonna Cove, a rather trendy looking place with some blocks of flats scattered around alongside the usual house plots you can take on a computer controlled room-mate to help pay the rent, making sure to pick someone with a temperament compatible with that of your character, otherwise sparks will fly. The only other major change is the introduction of witches. Yes, if you're bored with vampires now's your chance to put on a pointy hat, fly on a broomstick and hang around in the woods with your sisters prophesising doom to any passers-by. Witches have a secret castle area that can be visited and many ... Read the complete review
