Advantages: Interesting game, very well thought out concept
Disadvantages: Can get a little samey
With it's outdated graphics and lack of modern content the Sims 2 may seem like the poor relation to the EA's new baby the Sims 3.. However, for those interested in a 'real life simulator' the Sims 2 does not fail to deliver an enjoyable experience.. The game (sequel to the best seller The Sims) is certainly a must for those who lack an outlet for their 'God-complex' allowing you to take control of all aspects of the lives of your Sim creations, from emptying their bladder, to falling madly in love with the maid.. The game allows you to live out their lives in any way you please, and in doing so offers you endless hours of fun.. The content in the game however could be considered a little on the sparse side, though by no means will you find you dont have enough items with which to furnish your created homes, just that after a while you may begin to get sick of using the same kids bedroom sets in all your houses, but never fear there are several excellent expansion and 'stuff' packs available which both enhance and compliment the game play of this superb game...
Audiences young and old will find themselves engrossed in the game-play, with the well thought out user interface very easily navigable by all..
Summary: A brilliant game.. must have for simulation fans
