Advantages: Lots of great features
Disadvantages: Can be slow
This is a game that is fantastic fun but has one major downside - you need a computer with massive memory space to be able to run it effectively as otherwise it just takes forever to load and everything moves really slowly.
The main step up from The Sims to The Sims 2 is that you now have to actually do everything in more detail as your children go from babies then to toddlers then to children then to teenagers and through every stage you have to help them learn to do things such as walk, been potty trained, do homework and get a teenage job which can be hard to do.
A major perk of The Sims 2 is that you can be invaded by aliens and the males can become pregnant with alien baby which are green and it is so so so funny to watch!
I would say definitely buy if your computer can handle it!

If you want higher ratings you need to add more info on things like what you do in the game (e.g. is it a RPG, First Person Shooter or a Strategy game?), the graphics (e.g. is there any slowdown, how do the characters look and what do the environments look like), the sound (e.g. soundtrack, effects, voice acting etc.) and how much content there is (e.g. how long did it take you to finish, were there any side missions and was there online play?). - 27/03/08 Good start to your review although more info and opinion would make your review more useful. Some things which would improve your review are a broef explanation of the graphics, sound effects, game difficulty/enjoyability etc.
