Advantages: Bigger, bolder, better!

Disadvantages: Need to have the right graphics card!

Released on the back of The Sims, The Sims 2 is bigger, bolder and better.

Everything about The Sims has been improved and expanded to give a better gaming experience and now looks so much more real!

In the Create-A-Sim screen you can now adjust all of your Sims features and dress them in loads more outfits. Your Sims now have family trees and instead of waiting for a baby to appear on your doorstep, you can add them in the Create-A-Sim screen - giving them characteristics and features of both parents!

The Build and Buy modes are still very similar to the original game, however, there is more to chose from and you can also arrange furniture by room, making it easier to find the perfect items for your dream house. In addition to this, you can also chose to arrange by theme, useful for those who want their Sims to have matching items in their house instead of just chosing stuff that looks the same!

Overall, the neighbourhoods look a lot better and are a bit bigger. The loading screens are similar to the original game, just brighter and more modernised.

This game is great for fans of the orignal game and newbies alike! Just make sure you have a high enough graphics card, as I found that when I used my old card all of the walls flashed black and red and the landscapes looked like something off of the Mega Drive!!!

Summary: Overall, a fantastic game for old and new fans!
