This expansion disk to 'The Sims 2' adds a whole new dimension to the game, There are plenty of new interesting items to choose from and of course the addition of pets added to the game gives it a new twist. Gamers can create their pets and have them the way they want them which makes it even more appealing. The outstanding graphics, shown especially with the pets in the game add realism to the game and though the game is not very challenging it never becomes boring.For new users, the learning curve is low and you can also find detailed information in the Game Tip Encyclopedia located at the book icon at the bottom of the screen, so you do not have to be especially familiar with the sims, however you will need the original disc to run it as this is only an expansion. The only bad point is the installation process can take a while and requires a lot of disk space also there is no multi-player option. This game is a must buy for any fans of the sims.

Summary: advantages outweigh disadvantages
