Advantages: Playable, entertaining, faster, good game play

Disadvantages: Americanised, distracting, less features than I was expecting

I have always loved Sims. Since the launch of the first game I have been addicted. There's just something about playing God and fiddling in these characters lives that is just so appealing.

This came out just after I started university myself and I was hooked. The great thing I found about it was the adaptability of taking your existing characters and taking them into this new environment. There was the inkling of excitement I first felt moving out for myself for the first time.

My favourite part of the whole game play was that as well as being at university, enjoying the frat parties, meeting new people there was still the pressure of doing the work, term assignment and the mid-term. There's hardly time to do everything else which is so true to life!

As for the influence points, pure genius! It's what Sims needed all along, a way of collecting points to make others do your bidding.

All in all it's my favourite expansion pack so far and I am now awaiting Christmas so I can stick the new Nightlife one onto my computer too.

As I said in the title, it's so engrossing I did actually forget to go to college one day. Whoops!

Summary: Very playable, great graphics, good flow from Sims 2
