Advantages: A must for SIMS FANS
Disadvantages: Not for younger children
The game comes withe two CD's, no DVD version.
Both disks are needed for installation a small booklet will also come with the game for directions etc. Not a great deal of info in the booklet other than that.
The Sims can do somethings that parents may not want their children to see.
The game is large and needs alot of RAM and a powerful graphics card for it to run properly. Some scenes may not work if your computer is more than six years old.
System Requirements for The Sims 2: University - Taken from the game box
The Sims 2 Installed
Windows XP, Me, 2000, or 98
800 MHz or faster Intel Pentium III or 900 MHz AMD Athlon Processor
At least 256 MB of RAM
8x or faster CD/DVD drive
At least 1.0 Gig of free space on the hard drive
Direct X 9.0 compatible video and sound cards.
The game play is the same as Sims 2 , players control the Sims in the normal fashion. The same interactions are set up. The requirements , needs and dreams of the Sims are the same to build a College (University).
Mainly the game involves sending the Sims to College.Sims that go to college are young adults, not teenagers and not adults.
The Sims 2: University mainly added a new dimension to the game with being able to send Sims to college and like all Sims you go on from their into a world of time , lifespan , options - you decide. I could wirte about typical College / University life to describe the game because that is what you will get, exams, papers, dorms, friends , Pizza and finally you will graduate. Of course you have other Sims to entertain , watch and interact with infact whole communities ,college house and campus sites.
Nothing too much to get excited about but another for Sims fans.
Be warned this game may be too familiar for Students to be any fun.
Summary: Not fun for Students or Lecturers the game is too real
