The Sims master suite stuff was the 5th stuff pack released for the Sims 3 and was released in late 2011 so was around 2 and a half years old at the time of writing, and in my opinion is one of the best ones.
The theme of the pack is pure luxury and in concentrates mainly on the bedroom and the bathroom, including indulgent nightwear for your Sims to wear to seduce in the bedroom (not that there clothing effects their interactions at all, but you know they look good).
All in all the pack comes with:
10 New Hairstyles (8 female and 2 male)
4 Eye Masks (All female)
47 Items of clothing (37 female and 10 male)
Overall this is another stuff pack that has concentrated heavily on the create a sim with loads of clothes and hairstyles as apposed to build/buy objects, which I guess is the way they have decided to go with this series, and you do get loads of outfits (all nightwear and underwear). It comes with lovely lacy nighties, frilly underwear, funky PJ bottoms, robes and boxers for men, and my personal fave the boyfriend style shirt and panties combo for woman. The problem with the pack is that you don't really get to see much of the content as your Sims don't tend to walk around in their nightwear or underwear all day so it gets a bit lost, also each sim only has one night time outfit and one underwear outfit unless you go to the effort of changing them or buying more outfits, so you don't get to utilize whats on offer in one household and it will take a long while to get any play out of all of it.
What this pack does do well is give you the high tech snazzy looking bathroom set that should have been part of high tech stuff (the first stuff pack released, see my previous reviews), and comes with some gorgeous romantic looking bedroom furniture, including accessories like candles and vases of roses and pretty artwork so you can complete the look. This completeness is something that is missing from a lot of the other stuff pack and is what makes this one better.
So in summary 92 items s an improvement on many of the packs available, what is included is well designed, even if the outfits will take a long time to get any use out of, there should be more objects in the pack and it would have been nice to have items for other rooms of the house, but this is definitely one of the better packs available and one that I enjoyed playing, so I give it a healthy 4*
It has held it's value well and can be picked up from £11-£20 on eBay, £20 being the original RRP so a bit steep for 2+ year old game but anywhere around the £10-£12 mark I think is reasonable.
