Advantages: Create a sim feature has been improved alot, no loading times when travelling

Disadvantages: Takes a while to load when quitting, takes up alot of space/memory

I was really looking forward to this game after being a sims fan for many years and after it had been delayed several times. As with all sims games it takes up alot of space/memory and takes a while to load, but once it had loaded i didn't really get much lag at all compared to the previous sims games. The only other time the game was slow for me during the save and quit part, which i find to be slow on all sims games. When i first played the game i went straight to the create a sim feature, which i have to say is much better than that of the previous games. This time you can manipulate the way your sim looks alot more, such as eye size, makeup and you can also create your own patterns/styles for clothing/accessories and shoes. Following this i then chose a house for my sim, this is basically the same as the other sims games and so is the furnishing/decorating features of the house. I was a little disappointed with the objects and decor as i felt there wasn't really many new items from that of the previous games. Gameplay is fairly easy to understand if you're familiar with the sims, it should be easy to use even if you're not though. There are many new features when talking to people, such as asking about their day, enthusing about things and many more. Unlike other sims games where you needed add-ons to go to other places with this sims you can go to the town, the beach and other places around the sims village and this time there is no loading time as you travel to the places! Overall i think the game is good and i think most sims fanatics would purchase it and if you're new to the game you'd like it to. Personally i think it could have had a few new features, such as a story mode as for me it does get boring after a while even though it's very addictive!

Summary: A good game that would appeal to sims fans old and new!
