Advantages: The graphics and more freedom of this game

Disadvantages: Having to finish playing at the end of the night!! :)

The sims 3 is here!! I am a complete addict of all the sims and have had all the expansion packs available previously, but this one takes the biscuit. As well as speeding up game play, improving the graphics and making it more like a real life, I have just found it more enjoyable all around. I like the way that it saves the families onto seperate games and being able to choose a family before going into towns.

I love the fact that you are able to walk around the neighbourhood and get to places without calling a taxi and waiting until it arrives. The careers are so much better, I could struggle before to get the sims to progress in their careers (even after much trying), this time they actually seem to want to progress themselves. All the various stores are a great addition to the game and you do find that you go out and about more in the neighbourhood, while the sims have more will power and want to go out more themselves.

You can pick a sims favourite food, colour etc and there are so many more options on creating you own sim. Eyes, hair, skin tone etc, all able to be customised by yourself. Along with all the household items, wallpaper, basically most of the things in the game.

There are loads of new parts of the game to explore, like being able to grow your own fruit and veg and become a brilliant gardener, or becoming an acclaimed author. They add extra parts to it also like being able to go out in search of seeds and harvesting plants/trees out in the neighbourhood. Or becoming a fabulous fisher!!

In total I think that this is a fantastic game and they really have worked on this one, putting all the extra thought and graphics into it!!
