This is definately a better installment than the Sims 2. It seems a lot easier to play and the development in the graphics really make for an interesting game. The fact that EA have got rid of the lifetime relationship bar and the need of friends to develop in the job world has made the game far more realistic and far easier in my opnion. In order to progress up the job ladder you have to make friends with the correct people, such as sucking up to your boss! But be careful, do this too much and you alienate yourself from your work colleagues.
The one downside to the game is the new town visitor icon. This is where your sim can head off into town and you can control what he does, from playing football in the park to going out for a meal. I believe this slows the game down and isnt needed, however. Its still a good buy.

Summary: An ok game
