Hello, my name is BBWJayne and I am a Sims Addict (pauses for the self help crowd to chant back 'Hello BBWJayne'). I have never really been a computer games type of person. Sure, I enjoyed playing games but they would be fun for a few days and then I would get bored and they would start to collect dust in my CD rack. Perhaps this is because the marketplace is littered with shoot 'um up games that just don't appeal to me whatsoever. Then, one fateful day I got The Sims for birthday present. Since then I am have been hooked. I went through a period of finishing up my work and then playing all night. Okay, that was excessive and eventually I ... Read the complete review

I bought the sims a while back and loved it. I played it every day. Building my sim the perfect house with plenty of windows. Making sure there were lights in every room. I did every thing to make her happy. Well at least I tried. After 2 months of playing my sim was bored she wanted to go new places and see new things. I had already discovered the money cheat by this time so there was no job line that I needed or that would keep me interested. I mean if I needed money I had the cheat I didnt have to work for it. I was not able to keep her happy no matter what I did. She would fight with her neighbors making it impossible to raise her ... Read the complete review

I would have bought this regardless of the price, through curiosity and love of the Sims. It is an expansion pack and extension to the original Sims game and is not a stand-alone game. People must have bought and installed “The Sims” to play this added extension to the game. SO WHAT’S NEW? Well, quite a bit actually. There are 10 exchange lots in the Downtown section from the local chippie café to posh restaurants to gambling anonymous havens. There is a beach, shops where you can buy quite a few items including clothes and jewelry and more. This pack also provides The Sims gamer with 8 expanding neighbourhoods in ... This is so addictive it's made me pretty much trash my computer, just to play it! Hot Date is the third expansion for Maxis' excellent "The Sims", adding a lot of new features, as well as the expected new items and skins. The Sims itself is a remarkable game (on which I've expounded at embarassing length in another op), but basically it's a mundanity simulator. Yep - You get to simulate wallpapering a house, making coffee, cleaning the loo, or even the excitement of paying the electricity bill! This may at first sound insane, but it is infuriatingly addictive (also thanks to the huge internet community dedicated to ... Read the complete review

The sims hot date expansion pack, is a delightful addition to the sims. If you were losing interest in the game, then this provides a new lease of life. The game play This expansion pack, provides more activities and more social interactions, than the original game. In total, there are more than 40 new ways for your sims to interact and change their lifetime and daily relationships. When you meet a new sim now, you can choose between more interactions in the speach bubble. You can now *Greet differently *Kiss differently *Hug differently *Insult *Entertain differently *Brag *Primp *Say goodbye ... Read the complete review
