Advantages: new stuff, makes the game better

Disadvantages: for the price should be more things

This is the first expansion pack for the sims and it seems fairly alright. I am not a big fan but i thought i would give it a try. In this pack you get an upgrade in the number of neighbour hoods there are from 1 to 5 which is fairly good.

You also get the chance for your sim to choose one of 5 new careers which are a slacker, a Journalist, a Paranormal, a Hacker and a Musician so you can experience new things with your sims.

You also can get new characters around the house such as a Robot to clean your houae an there is also a grim reaper who comes to take you sims life away.

You also get new problems as wll because new instead of just fire you can now get roach infestations and alien abductions which makes the game a little bit more challanging.

You also get new items such as a Home Chemistry lab so you sim can have fun making 1 of 8 potions, you can get a magic latern which will grant the wish that your sim wants the most, you can get a romantic bed so you sims can have a little fun and it also moves when they do, you can get a electric guitar so you sims can get into a new career and admirers watch you play good music and you can get a crystal ball which your sims can unravel the riddles which will improve your sims personality

So overall if you want a bit of extra fun for your game go purchase this
