This seemed like a good idea, seemed like. As with all Sims expansion packs it turned out to be a disappointment. Although there are some new activities like playing volleyball there's nothing to keep you entertained. You're doing the same old things, directing your sims to the toilet, buying items, letting them nap etc. only this time you're doing it somewhere other than your house. The kids can play paper rock scissors, frankly I don't recall it being necessary to be on holiday to play that so although these interactions are slightly different they don't really relate to the scenario. It's as if the developers just stuck anything in this expansion pack after ... Read the complete review

This is the fourth add-on pack for Maxis' The Sims, which I believe is the biggest selling PC game in the world. Obviously you need the original game in order to install this. All of the original features and gameplay are unchanged, as are the graphics and sound. There are a couple of hundred reviews of The Sims on dooyoo, so I won't say much about it here. Basically it's a god game in which you have little families of people (Sims) who you control using your mouse. You have to tend to all their needs: feed them, make sure they're happy etc. It's kind of like having a doll's house, but more fun. The first two expansions, Livin' it Up ... Read the complete review

I got the Sims Vacation just a few days ago. I’d always been tempted as I have all of The Sims Expansions, and this naturally completes the collection. So, after it was out for a few months, I thought “what the hey?!” and got it. I wasn’t expecting anything amazing due to reading reviews that say it is “fairly average”. I am slightly disappointed even after expecting an average pack. Hot Date I loved for the first three hours, then I despised it and uninstalled it, then I re installed it and am happy! It brought many new aspects to the game – among which was the one I hated – the new relationship bars. You have a ... Read the complete review

This is a review about the Sims On Holiday, one of the best Expansions there is for the Sims. You get loads of new options on building your house, when you live and play your Sims, you are able to go on holiday, and also, you can make your own holiday camp, how cool is that. To play this Sims, you will need the original Sims to be installed, or you will be upset, because it won't allow you to install this Sims. So if you are a Sims fan, and want to buy this expansion, and then make sure you have the original game installed on your computer before installing this expansion pack. When you go on holiday, you will find loads of new holiday characters, ... Read the complete review

So whats new for our little human friends?First I will start with Vacation island (despite not looking like an island) its a great way for sims to enjoy new activities like snowboarding, fishing, camping, archery, volleyball and plenty more. Vacation island has three different climates to have a holiday. You can choose to relax on a hot, sunny beach, rough it up in the woods or chill out in the winter sunshine on the mountain. Each climate has its own character as well. Your sim might bump into a beach shark on the beach, bump into Robin Hood in the woods or maybe able to meet the yeti in the mountains. Your Sim can hire a tent in the forest, an igloo on the mountain, or ... Read the complete review
