Advantages: Loads of new areas

Disadvantages: The game slows down on Vacation Island

So whats new for our little human friends?First I will start with Vacation island (despite not looking like an island) its a great way for sims to enjoy new activities like snowboarding, fishing, camping, archery, volleyball and plenty more. Vacation island has three different climates to have a holiday. You can choose to relax on a hot, sunny beach, rough it up in the woods or chill out in the winter sunshine on the mountain. Each climate has its own character as well. Your sim might bump into a beach shark on the beach, bump into Robin Hood in the woods or maybe able to meet the yeti in the mountains. Your Sim can hire a tent in the forest, an igloo on the mountain, or you can just hire a room for the night. (A better solution than sleeping on the floor!) What is also good about vacation island is that children can go there, because I find it quite annoying that children can't go to the downtown area. Plus there are more interactions for your kiddie sims.
So your sim has had a good holiday? then why don't they buy (or win) a souvenir for the cabinet. When I listen to the music on vacation island it makes me feel as if I'm on holiday. The drawback though is that the game runs very s-l-o-w-l-y on vacation island but it didn't spoil the fun one bit.

A Sims expansion pack will always add more items and new clothing and heads for the sims. 125 new items were added altogether. My favourites were the slide for the swimming pool and also the new fireplace. But I felt there wasn't enough new items.
So I reccommend Sims Vacation (On Holiday) for all Sims fans.
