You get to be a popstar or actor and there are many more exciting career choices for you to pick from. I really like how you have to try and train up your skills such as logic and creativity to actually succeed in this job and to get promoted. Premium Review The Sims - Superstar (PC): Sims superstar...not so super (151 words)

I am normally a huge fan of the sims, but this game was a disappointment. I found that it was hard to get anywhere in any of the careers, this was becuase i found that there was not enough time to fulfill all of their mood counters which meant that none of my charactrs wanted to improve on their logic, and creative skills. The fact that EA Games brings out the same type of game for such a high price without changing much of the game play seems a rip off to me. This the last Sims game i will buy in this series, but i am certain it won't be the last one that they bring out. I still loves the sims, but this was not a good buy in my eyes. I will still be playing the original ...  Read the complete review

Ive liked the sims for a while now and got all the expansions packs as well and I think they are great I love playing god. LOL. You know telling a virtual person to do what you want them to do. The same basic concept of the game is still the same: You create a Sim or Sim family, build or buy them a house, and take care of their basic needs. The change in this one is that you change there job style in more ways than one. There are no alarms to get up when you haven't gotten enough sleep, and you don't have to work tedious 12 hours days . You can't get fired . You cant get fired so easily in this game as you can in other expansions packs like livin it ...  Read the complete review

Being a music student, this game seemed like the perfect solution to a post exam freedom! It's got the classic Sims beauty of being wonderfully addictive, (note to all students - DO NOT PLAY BEFORE EXAMS OR NEAR ASSIGNMENT DUE DATES!) yet has the new game theme of 'becoming a star Dahling!!'. ***Technical stuff*** To play The Sims Superstar, you first of all need to own The Sims original, or The Sims Deluxe Edition. Also the following is stuff your computer must have! OS - Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP Processor - 450MHz Intel Pentium II Memory - 128MB RAM Hard Drive - 1.12 GB CD-DVD - 4 Speed Graphics - 4MB ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fun but a hard expansion (760 words)
by - written on 03/12/03 (Useful, 506 readings)
Rating:

First of all you need "The Sims" as this is only an expansion pack to add to the game. Secondly I wouldn't recomend you buy it unless you have another expansion pack that helps you with social interactions or your Sim will be wanting to comit suicide sharpish. Instalation was really easy, just like any other pack, just make sure you don't loose the box, as the serial numbers are hard to come by. This Sims can take a while to load, but its all good because its not as tempermental as some of the other expansion packs which won't load or whatever. System requirements as usual but here they are again for anyon that wants to ...  Read the complete review
