Advantages: the graphics gameplay etc

Ive liked the sims for a while now and got all the expansions packs as well and I think they are great I love playing god. LOL. You know telling a virtual person to do what you want them to do.

The same basic concept of the game is still the same: You create a Sim or Sim family, build or buy them a house, and take care of their basic needs. The change in this one is that you change there job style in more ways than one.

There are no alarms to get up when you haven't gotten enough sleep, and you don't have to work tedious 12 hours days . You can't get fired . You cant get fired so easily in this game as you can in other expansions packs like livin it up . The downside to that is, you don't get paid as often like a regular job. You don't make very much money which I feel isn’t the best but you soon adapt to it.

Starting off, if you want to become a star the first thing you do is sign up for an agent. You can do this in a lot of ways such as via the newspaper or computer. Once you have an agent you can no longer have a "real" Sim job like before.

It's difficult starting out because all the major events are only open to stars, such as filming a movie, walking the catwalk, and recording a hit song. You cant do this straight away like in any job you have to work your way to it. You can either sing at a karaoke bar, or "entertain" an audience.

The best way to get people to listen to your acts is to build up on your charisma. When people start to pay attention to you, you move up and away to your stardom. There are 5 stars, and you move up one half star at a time.

Friends in this game may come in very helpful if you make them early. Of course to be a star you want to mingle with stars. This can be really difficult at first, because all you can really do is talk about showbiz etc which isn’t that great...conversations do have there limitations. You really have to build them up before you're allowed to have more interactions. You'll need these friends to move up the popularity chain quickly.

Once you do gain more star levels, you can move on to the bigger and better things. This is still difficult. The producers and music recorders are really picky. Try to only use your talents when you have got the highest of happiness because this will help loads when you perform.


As always, there are items and products in this expansion pack which go from tables to things such as skydiving simulators which can be very exciting for you and your sim.

The graphics are brilliant as always but still constantly they are improving them for you so you get a better game then before.

This game might be a bit difficult for first timers because the whole concept of the game can be hard to get into if you haven’t already played it before. The game is a bit difficult, but its a lot easier to become a star in the sim world then it ever will be in this world. A great game which I think a lot of games would like.
