Advantages: Add a pet to your Sims household
Disadvantages: Hard to control pets, takes a lot of extra effort
The Sims Unleashed was one of about 7 or so expansion packs released by Maxis to accompany the original Sims game on the PC.
In this game you are given the opportunity to add a pet to your household as well as the usual new items and neighbourhood lots that make up the wider Sims world.
Whilst I enjoyed playing the original game a lot when I was younger and had nothing better to do with my time, there's only so many changes they can make to the games and even then
they don't really change the game itself that much. Being able to add a dog or a cat to the household was exciting at first but they are a lot of work! There's the feeding and playing with them and plus the difficult part I found was controlling them. Whereas you can set the 'Free Will Off' command for your normal Sims, it's a lot harder to control your pets actions.
There's also the fact that if you don't toilet train them they tend to use anywhere they feel like it to let out a leak.
A handy addition to have if you're already a big fan of the original games but I'd reccomend buying the Complete Collection to get all the expansion packs in one rather than just shelling out for this one
as together they add a much greater feel to the game and can provide hours of entertainment.
Summary: Good addition to The Sims collection

Stunt 101 - 14/07/08 Welcome to Dooyoo.
If you want higher ratings you need to add more info on things like what you do in the game (e.g. is it a RPG, First Person Shooter or a Strategy game?), the graphics (e.g. is there any slowdown, how do the characters look and what do the environments look like), the sound (e.g. soundtrack, effects, voice acting etc.) and how much content there is (e.g. how long did it take you to finish, were there any side missions and was there online play?). If you need any more advice send me a PM. |
