Graphics- 7 out of 10
Certainly one of the things the Sims has going for it is its graphics. They aren't too sharp but nice and decently smooth. The sprites are strong and Maxis detail sufficiently their objects.

Sound- 4 out of 10
The Sims has perfunctory sound quality and decent, workable SFX. Music doesn't ever change unless in different modes.

Play Control- 3 out of 10
The cursor moves painfully slowly. The people move far too slowly unless you live the game in hyper speed - which causes the game to go by at a ridiculous speed. The AI processing is laughable as well, with Sims forgetting how to navigate around basic obstacles in order to reach their destination

Replay Value- 1 out of 10
After about four hours, you'll have done all there is to do in it.


Overall- 2 out of 10
Overall The Sims is a game that is far too hyped up for its quality, it's dull and terrible.

Summary: Waste of time now...
